Launched in 1959 and designed by in-house draughtswoman Catherine Chaillet, who named it after her newborn daughter, the Constance is defined by its spring-loaded 'H' clasp and an adjustable strap for crossbody or shoulder carry. One of Hermès's most coveted bags, produced today in Micro 14, Mini 18, 24 and the elongated Élan (introduced 2010), in leathers such as Box calf (the original), Epsom, Swift, Chèvre and Evercolor.
